This interesting articles explains advantages of using website templates for your online business.
If you’re doing business in China, you will need to learn Chinese. If you’re doing business in Japan, you would need to learn Japanese. If you’re doing business in Italy, you would need to learn Italian.
What language, then, would you need to learn when you’re doing business online?
Why, the language of the Internet of course! HTML, Hyper Text Markup Language. HTML is a series of codes and commands that would help you craft an intricate system to convey your business message throughout the entire virtual world. If you want to embellish your forum posts, you would need HTML. If you want to build products that would provide solutions for web users, you would need HTML. If you want to create fantastic innovations that can be carried out through the World Wide Web, you would need HTML.
But HTML is most important in one aspect of the online game, particularly in Internet marketing: website design. You would need some knowledge about HTML if you are to build a website that would attract the attention of online users and project a sense of professionalism and class that would make it easier for them to trust your business.
Seeing as how your website would serve as your online business’ digital store on the Internet, it is very important that you come up with a clean, organized and effective design. Much is at stake at how you will present your website. Hence, a modicum of knowledge about HTML would usually be insufficient in preparing a website built for business.
You could always hire a freelancer to create a website for you, of course. But outsourcing seldom comes cheap. Often, you would have to shell out a lot of cash just to ensure high quality work. And sometimes, what will be delivered would be contrary to your expectations. Also, miscommunication and disagreements with the freelancer should also be factored in. All of these combined would be enough to give anyone some genuine headaches.
So what are you to do if you don’t know jack about HTML and if you’re too hesitant to try outsourcing? Should you settle on doing business without a website?
Fret not, dear friend. There is another option you could take. You could always resort to ready-made website templates.
Ready-made website templates are ready-to-use website designs that usually come in .htm or .html file formats along with the accompanying objects therein. With these templates, all you have to do is to personalize them to suit the identity as well as the needs of your business, upload them on a web server, and they’ll be ready for all the World Wide World to see. Indeed, with website templates, it’s that simple.
There are a lot of website templates available on the Internet. There is always one which would be perfect for your business. And if the choices aren’t amenable for you, you could always mix and match and features and objects of different templates to come up with a design that you would feel would perfectly represent your online enterprise.
Website templates are the easiest ways to come up with your own website. The past two years saw a boom in the number of websites on the Internet. This is because of the effects brought by the Google AdSense program. A lot of people earn their keeps by creating countless mini-sites about different niches. You must bear in mind that it would be physically impossible for one NETrepreneur to create that many websites.
The need for fast, convenient, and highly effective websites has also spiked the demand for website templates. More and more are slowly learning their value in the field of online business.
Internet marketing is all about time, after all. In this industry, time is gold and every second counts. If you feel you don’t have the time to learn the language of the web, then you might as well avail of the many, many benefits of instant website templates.

Mistakes To Avoid When Using Web Templates
In this article explains you how to avoid mistakes when choosing and using website template.
Website templates are very affordable and they save you a lot of effort and time when you want to create a new layout for your website. However, a lot of people make mistakes in the process of choosing and using a web template and end up with something that was unlike the image they had in mind. Here are some guidelines to help you avoid those mistakes.
The first obvious mistake you should be aware of is using a template that is very popular. If many people use the same template, your website will not appear unique at all and your credibility as a solid, different website will be tarnished. In other words, you will appear generic just like your next-door neighbours.
To whole point of using a web template is to save time and effort. You just change the title and appropriate details and you're done. The biggest mistake one makes is to customize the template beyond recognition. While that may be good in the sense that you're creating a unique graphic, you're defying the very purpose of using a web template -- saving time and effort. However, on the opposite side, if a template you purchase is suitable but some changes must be made to suit your site's theme, then you will have to take some time to make the changes. For example, you can find a very nice template that suits your hobby site except the original designer has put an image of stamps in the header. You can find images of garden plants and spades to replace the stamps for your gardening hobby site. However, do only make the necessary changes and don't redesign the whole template. In some circumstances, some people simply make the wrong choice of templates. This is a very subjective issue but you have to be careful in selecting templates to suit your audience. Do not choose templates just because they are pretty, choose them because they serve your purpose.

Make a Professional and Attractive Website With Templates
This aericle explains step by step what to do with templates to make attractive and professional website.
Internet users will spend 3-5 seconds at a website before deciding to either stay, or try elsewhere. Take heed of this fact and realize that a website with great content can still be left behind without a professional, attractive look.
Unfortunately, designing and coding a great website isn’t always easy; it requires a good deal of creativity and knowledge, which a lot of us just don’t have. Web design companies can charge per hour, more than many people make in a day for just this reason. But there are other options, and this is where website templates come in. They allow you to take advantage of
other people’s creativity and expertise while paying a fraction of what you would (around $50). However, this drastic price cut does come with some strings attached, and you will need to do a few basic things to get your template-based website ready for prime time.
Content
Your first task with a template will be to insert your content and format it properly. Take a look at the template and your content side by side and determine what should go where, and on which page (homepage, contact, about us, etc.). Then, open up one page (.htm or .html file) at a time in your favorite text editor, and copy and paste in your content. Make sure to save the file with .htm or .html as the extension and take a look in a browser. It probably won’t look perfect at first, so try playing around with paragraph length and font-size. You can do this by adding a simple font size style into your paragraph tags. You’ll also need to change the text of the links (also known as anchor text) in the navigation to reflect the flow of your website. If you’ve never worked with HTML or CSS, this step may take you a few hours, but this is a trade-off you should be a little more willing to make after spending $50 for a professionally designed website.
Image Editing
After you’re done adding content there is still work to do. Even if you get lucky and you’re happy with the look and images your template comes with, you should think about replacing them with your own. One of the unfortunate facts about web templates is that their purchase carries no copyright, and therefore many websites can use the same ones. So, changing colors, and replacing images can prevent your website from being almost identical to a competitor’s. Assuming you purchased a template to save money, buying an expensive image editing program would defeat the purpose. So, unless you already own an image editing suite like Adobe Photoshop, try out GIMP (http://www.gimp.org), a free, open source image editing program that offers most of the same capabilities. At this point a few really simple changes can make a world of difference. Web templates often make wide use of stock photos, so find an image that relates more closely to your content, make it the same size as the one it’s replacing, and your website will have a whole new feel. Editing the color of the background, and changing the color of navigational buttons are two more changes that are quick, easy, and give your website a new look.
Web Hosting
The last thing you’ll need to do is find a domain name, and web host to get your site online. There are thousands of web hosting companies online, and the vast majority of them will offer domain name registration. Make sure to look for one with an easy application to upload your files, high bandwidth, and e-mail addresses included. Go check one out, and get your professional, attractive website online quickly, easily, and for a fraction of the price your competitors.

Advantages and Disadvantages Of Using Web Templates or WYSIWYG Editors For Web Designing
This article discusses the pros and cons of using website templates and WYSIWYG editors to design web pages as against traditional web programming. This article is intended for novice web developers and prospective website owners.
Template based web page development:
A lot of people get tempted by good looking web templates. Some template vendors even offer do-it-yourself kits to their customers. Web templates are designed by experts, using the latest designing software. They look stunning, compared to web pages developed by other means. While ready made templates offer several advantages, they have some disadvantages too.
Advantages of using templates:
1. You know how your finished site looks. You can choose the template that appeals to you. You need not rely on a web developer to get a good looking website.
2. Faster turnaround. You need not spend a lot of time on getting the colors and layout right. You can go straight to changing text and proceed with programming.
3. Templates are much cheaper than hiring a web developer. There are several sites that offer free templates as well.
4. Templates look much better than sites developed in traditional HTML programming. Templates are designed by professionals that are creative and competent and experienced.
5. Templates can be customized by anyone with basic HTML knowledge. You can customize the template yourself using a text editor.
Disadvantages of using templates:
1. You can get web templates for free or at a low-price. But these templates are not unique. Several people may have already bought or downloaded the template you have chosen. If you cant change the colors or layout a bit, your site looks like a clone of several sites. If you want a unique template design licensed only to you, you need to spend a fortune on it.
2. Often, templates don’t look good if you stretch them a bit. For example, if there is space for 100 words in a block and if you try to insert 200 words in that space, the template layout may change. And this may not look good. This puts limitations on text you can place in a template based web page, thereby restricting you from optimizing text or being descriptive about your business. It is well known that the more verbose in a page the more attention it gets from search engines. A template doesn’t come with Meta tags. You need to insert these meta tags.
3. Templates are good for static pages. If a site needs dynamic pages with a huge database to built, you need to opt for simpler templates.
4. If you are doing customization for yourself, always work on a copy of the template files. Templates are often done with simple HTML. But if you try to edit HTML tags instead of text between them, you might end up with bad page layout.
5. If there are template files with .tpl extension, locate the files where variables are defined. Then try to establish the logic behind the file system.
Using WYSIWYG editors:
Nowadays, several WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editors are available for creating web pages. With these editors it is possible to create good looking pages simply by dragging and dropping objects on the page, without any HTML knowledge. They come with a lot of menu options. If you are familiar with windows objects or windows based software, you can create a web page in time.
Advantages of using a WYSIWYG editor:
1. It's great fun to create web pages this way. You can do it yourself, experimenting with colors and layouts. The web page is likely to be unique, unless you are trying to clone another web page. You can stretch your imagination.
2. It’s faster and easier to create web pages. You can make changes to a page layout by simply dragging the objects to their new positions.
3. You can make changes to content (text or images) in WYSIWYG editor, instead of searching for and inserting between HTML tags, or using a complex content management system.
4. WYSIWYG software runs on any windows computer.
5. you can also create background images on fly.
Disadvantages of using a WYSIWYG editor:
1. A WYSIWYG editor produces files of large sizes. The web page may take a bit longer to download.
2. The HTML code generated may not be compliant with existing web standards. Some of these editors are meant for web sites to be hosted with particular servers. Some WYSIWYG editors even produce files with their own extensions.
3. You need to fill in a lot of details, such as Meta tags and link colors for each page. Some WYSIWIG editors support CSS while editing and some don’t.
4. You need to preview the page in different browsers more often to see if the page is shaping up as you intended.
5. Web pages designed using WYSIWYG editors are rigid. They do not stretch if you put more text or images on a page. Instead they overlap on each other. Some WYSIWYG editors produce excessive div tags. It is difficult to edit these pages in an ordinary HTML editor.
6. Often these web pages are difficult to optimize for search engines.
I believe this article will help you in deciding the tools to use for your next website. If your site requires a huge database and pages need to produce dynamically, it is always better to opt for traditional programming methods. If your site is static, then a great looking template or using WYSIWYG editor will be a good option. Another factor you need to consider is SEO. If you want to rely on traffic from search engines, traditional HTML, CSS gives you the best results. If you can promote your site by spending huge amounts of money, you can go for flashier and visually stunning templates without much regard to SEO.

Traffic Warning: Is Your Website Template "Killing" Your Search Engine Rankings?
This is very informative article that explains you how important is clean and well organized source code for search engine optimisation.
When it comes to optimizing websites for search engines, most people spend all their time on only creating keyword-optimized content. They include their desired keywords in their headline and frequently in the web page text.
Does it sound like you?
Well, creating optimized content is good, and it WILL increase your chances of ranking in the top 10 results.
But you know, there's a problem here …
It's NOT the only factor that search engine spiders consider when they arrive at your site. Let me explain why…
You see, search engine spiders have a different kind of eye from what we have, so they see your web pages differently. When you visit your website, you see images, colored text, that nice header graphic, and so on.
But search engine spiders only see ONE thing: the source code.
Yes, these "behind the scene" codes are the only language they understand.
And they have to wade through this code and interpret it to discover your valuable content that they will pass on to the indexing robots.
So to make them understand that your website is really about your desired keywords and should rank high, you need to speak in their language … and speak it very well.
What does it mean?
It means that the source code of your website needs to be clean, organized, and easy to understand for search engine spiders. And putting your valuable content as close to the top of the source as possible.
This is an important secret that most people are not aware of. Something that most of the 'guru's' want to keep it that way.
And this is good news for you, because when you use this secret that you just learned, you will get ahead of your competition because the vast majority of them don't even know about it. So you will outrank them more easily.
Now, many people may tell you that SEO optimization isn't that important, because there are other traffic generating methods.
But then again, if you CAN have extra free traffic using an optimized page, why not do it? It doesn't cost one cent more to accomplish this!
So "how" can you create a search engine friendly layout for your website?
Here are 3 options for you:
Option #1: You Can Do It Yourself
Of course first you need to learn a lot about HTML and also Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to learn how you can make your website HTML codes easy to read for search engines.
The use of XHTML is advised, because it results in neat coding. I also advise you to validate your pages at W3.org, to ascertain clean coding.
Also you need to learn CSS to avoid tons of redundant source code for lay-out reasons. Preferably a bit of PHP too to make your pages more interactive.
Thus you can use the CSS to make up the lay-out and elements of the page and use minimal clean XHTML coding for the rest.
That makes your content stand out perfectly and that will lead to better recognition of what your pages are about by the search engines.
As you see, that's a big hassle which will also take you a lot of time.
So let's go to the next option…
Option #2: You Can Hire A Professional HTML and SEO Expert
That's a pretty good solution because it will save you a lot of time and doesn't come with the huge burden of learning everything yourself.
But there's a big problem here: There are so many so-called Search Engine Optimization experts out there who claim to be king of SEO, but in reality do not know more about more than you do.
So you might end up hiring one of these scams and end up spending your valuable money and don't get any results. The question is, HOW are you going to find a "real" professional and not fall for the wrong ones?
Another issue with this solution is that it will cost you money… and quite a lot of money if you really want to hire a good SEO expert who knows what he's doing.
And finally, it also means you depend on a third party expert, not always available when you need her.
This all brings us to the last option…
Option 3: Use A Proven Ready-Made Website Template
This is the best, most proven, and most cost-effective solution of all.
You just need to find a template that is already proven to work, and simply add your website content to it … and that's it! Now you have a search engine friendly website that is ready to put online.
No learning hassle like the first option. No risk of being ripped-off and a big cost like the second option. It's very easy to do. You don't even have to lift a finger.
There are many websites out there that offer all types of website templates, but the problem is that none of them has really been optimized for search engines. They are just designed to look good to the human visitor's eyes - not search engine spiders.
That's why I use my own, hand coded website template, that I have developed over the years.
But does this template really work? Is there proof?
You bet! One website I have created using this Ace Website Template has ranked #8 for a highly competitive keyword out of 92,700,000+ competing websites.
As you see, this template has really proven to work.
So if you're serious about making your website rank in the top 10 results for your desired keywords and drive a lot of free traffic automatically every day to your website, you definitely want to use such a powerful website template yourself.

Website Design for Newbies
This is an article that every Website Designer newbie should read. I think it is simple and has a couple of useful tips for web designer newbies.
In making your website, You must pay attention to the fundamental designs and details, to create a pleasant looking and yet optimally functional site. Several rules should be observed before it can qualify as a search engine friendly site.
1.Do not use flash intro or ezine subscribtion pop-ups
splash pages are the first pages you see when you arrive at a website. They normally have a very flashy intro with words like "welcome" or "click here to enter". In fact, they are just that -- unnecessary luxuries for your site. Do not let your visitors leave your slow loading website! Give them the information they need to know up front without the splash page. Opt-in list popup ads can be unwelcoming if you set it to load as soon as they enter your page. A discreet Opt-in form anywhere on the page can be a better way to get your visitors to join your mailing list. You can also set the popup for time-release so it deploys later.
2. Do not use too much banners
Even the least net savvy people have learned to ignore banner advertisements so you will be wasting valuable website space. Instead, provide more valuable content and insert affiliate links into it, and let your visitors decide if the product is good instead of being given an ultimatum to buy. Flashy banner ads do not account for most of the successful clicks like text ad links do.
3. Have a nice and presentable navigation
You have to provide a simple and very straightforward navigation menu so that even a young child will know how to use it. Stay away from fancy dropdown menus . If your visitors don't know how to navigate, they will leave your site.
4. Have a clear indication of where the user is
Try to provide a root map for menus and submenus, e.g. "You are here : F.A,Q". Visitors like being in control when browsing your site, because this gives them the ease to concentrate on what your site is about.
5. Avoid using video or audio on your site
Video and audio can help your marketing endeavor,if you use it wisely. If your visitor is going to stay a long time at your site, reading your articles, you will want to make sure they're not distracted by an audio message looping on and on on your website. If you must add video or audio then, make sure they can adjust it -- volume or muting controls would work fine.

How to Select Domain Names for Websites
This article shows you how to select a domain name for your website. This is something you should do even before you build your site.
Selecting a domain name is the first step in the process of online marketing. Picking a name for your site is not a difficult task, but, should be given due consideration. Although it might not affect your search engine rankings, it is your identity for both search engines and users.
If your company is into more than one product or service, which is not co-related, you should create separate sites for all of them. If you decide to spill your main site into multiple sites, be sure you do not create a duplicate site by copying your main one into a separate domain altogether. Such practices can be easily detected by search engines and you then stand the chance of being blacklisted by them.
As per SEO experts, it is always better to use different hosting companies for all your sites. If you have multiple similar-looking sites on the same server, the search engine might consider it them as duplicate websites. Make corresponding changes in your IP address whenever you split domains.
A number of search engine optimizers create 'mini' sites to enhance their traffic influx or strengthen their link exchange programme. Most of these sites have very little, or no content whatsoever – another problematic area, as far as search engines are concerned. Do not try to create ambiguous links to boost PageRank; you will be easily caught by search engine spiders.
Domain names can be booked for a meagre amount. Therefore, you should register a site name made up of your main keyword. You can make use of 'domain forwarding' to get traffic from your secondary keywords as well. For example, for a main site called homeloans, you can use domain pointers like homeloan, home-loan, or home-loans, etc. The basic catch is to use various combinations of your home site's name.
SEO services providers often suggest the use of subdomains in order to get more traffic. These are also known as prefix domains and are considered as separate domain names altogether. For a website that talks of distinctly-related issues, creating different domains and subdomains is a great idea. A server redirects each subdomain to a different folder, thus increasing your flow of traffic.
These issues should be taken care of by webmasters as they demand a lot of technical know-how. It is imperative to remember that each of your domain names should have suggestive keywords incorporated into it in order to catch the search engine spiders' attention.

Buying Website Templates or Freelance Web Designers?
Very interesting article about website templates. I just have find it and want to share with visitors of my blog.
It may be the latest craze in website styling. Making and acquiring web templates that are simple and can be used be even the most novice webmaster.
Creating a site from scratch takes time and knowledge. Sometimes this time can be better utilized promoting your website or marketing your products. So why not use a pre-designed template that can give you a professional look and have all the style and attractiveness of a custom designed website..
Website templates come in colorful designs and are usually appealing to the general public who are interested in getting involved in the online community. The visual appearance can be as diverse as the people who cater to this product.
The modernization of web development had led many webmasters to customize their own websites. This has led to hundreds of thousands of websites existing on the Internet. Therefore, some companies are now changing their free template business model into subscription programs.
In a subscription based web page template program, users can opt to choose a number of website designs and use them for e-commerce (business on the web), personal profiles and for organizational use.
Buying templates usually gives you access to support and tutorials that can get you up and going quickly. You can also pay a little more and get a professional to do the website customization for you. Web developers are in great supply and are willing to help you get your project on the road. Support forums can also assist you with any issues that may arise.
When you buy a professionally designed template you know that you will have an efficient and attractive template that can get you in business within one day.
Developing your web pages is simple when using templates. If you can download a file, you can get started customizing your site. Yes, it's that simple.
Since web page templates are user-friendly, ready-to-use, and do not employ complicated code as in the case of self built HTML-based web pages, the templates save time and energy and will display the same heading and menu throughout a website.
Some website template developers have created numerous HTML template formats and offer the subscriber a wide selection of templates. This will serve to allow you to select a template style that suits your needs and personal preferences for website design.
After selecting your site design and creating the website page it is time to publish your website online. This is done by securing a domain name and a host for your site. Some template developers are equipped to offer domain registration and hosting. You may, also, use third party registration and hosting options.
Since your templates are easy to customize you have substantial flexibility in your site's ultimate look. You can also alter the look when you want to, for any reason you choose. Changing different elements on your page can determine how long visitors stay on your site, so experiment and don't be afraid to ask your audience for feedback.
Pictures can be particularly daunting to deal with at times. Placing pictures on web pages requires that the picture be uploaded to your host along with your web pages. Most templates already include pictures and care must be taken in uploading the picture to the proper location.
Color is an important aspect in website design. Whether you buy a pre-made template or use a freelance web designer or freelance programmer, take your time and choose a color scheme that is consistent with your product of company logo. Be careful if using dark colors and be certain that the contrast allows the text to be visible in all browsers.
Future articles will cover these thses issues and more in detail, but be cognizant that your time is your most asset.

Why website templates make being a Webmaster more efficient
The acceptance of website templates as an alternative to website designing can be attributed to the ability of templates in improving the work efficiency of the webmaster. Of course, they also reduce the costs involved in setting up a website.
Website templates have evolved over the years from simple HTML web page templates to the Flash template designs that allow for dynamic and customized websites. Getting a website designed from scratch is an expensive and time-consuming process. Moreover, it is not easy to get the right web designer, very often projects get delayed because of difference in opinion between the web designer and the webmaster and delay usually implies escalating costs. Website templates help to solve this problem by offering a selection of web page designs at a fraction of the cost of a professionally designed web page.
Multimedia Flash and other professionally designed templates enable webmasters to select from millions of permutations and combinations without having to approach a web designer. Inexperienced webmasters benefit more from using website templates as it frees their time and allows them to concentrate on other issues regarding the development of their website. There are many websites that offer templates that can easily be customized to a webmaster's requirements.
Arriving at the right website design can speed up the website development process as after freezing the design, adding content to the website is not very time consuming and can be accomplished relatively easily. Website templates allow webmasters to pay more attention to this critical aspect of website development, and thus are more likely to receive traffic from search engines.
As website templates provide a readymade and consistent design for each page; they help in binding a website together, giving it uniformity and coherence, and in facilitating smooth browsing. Templates are available with editable and uneditable regions so chances of content getting erased are reduced. An important advantage that website templates offer is the ease with which they can be modified, the HTML and CSS components are not very difficult to master and once the basic website is in place and online, a webmaster can crystallize his concepts and customize the website to suit his business needs by fine tuning the content or adding JavaScript, if required.
Thus, website templates, that cost round $50 - $200, are of great help to webmasters in running the website more efficiently. They also allow the site to generate revenue quickly by allowing the webmaster to sooner focus on producing content, and implementing marketing activities such as web page optimization and competitor analysis.

Creating your Own Dreamweaver Templates Files
Interesting article that shows you how you can create your own templates using Dreamweaver
If you have built websites, you understand how frustrating it can be to have to update the look and feel of a lot of web pages.
Fortunately, Dreamweaver has a built in system which will help you to update as many pages as you want very quickly.
To use a Dreamweaver template, you simply need to create a new Dreamweaver template file.
This can be done by choosing the 'New' button in Dreamweaver, and then choosing what type of template you want from the 'Template pages' menu (you can choose HTML or PHP etc...)
Once you have created a template, you can create any look that you want for your website. You might add a table and a website banner.
You also want to add at least one 'editable region' to your template (editable regions can be found in the drop down menu for template objects).
Once you have done this, you can save the template and start creating your website pages based on this template by applying a template to a page.
The point is to build many pages of content based on one DWT template. Then when you want to update the layout of these pages, instead of having to update each one, you simply update the main .dwt file.
It is really simple to do and worth taking a few minutes to figure out.
If you want to see this in action and learn step by step from video tutorials which teach you about Dreamweaver templates, be sure to visit http://www.dreamweaverhowto.com.

Earn Cash With Adsense and Articles
Anybody who wants to earn money by posting articles on their blog has to read this text. With clarity and easiness of the approach it is not only informative and useful but helpful and imaginative, too.
The question regarding making cash using articles and Adsense has been asked numerous times. The unbelievers will tell you that it's not possible. If that were true, there would not be so many people earning a living writing articles for their Adsense sites.
In order to earn money with Adsense, you need to search for a profitable niche. When you are just beginning, you should pick a niche that you have some interest in. By doing this you will be more interested and it will not be quite as difficult for you to write your articles.
If you are interested in fishing, you could write articles about different kinds of fish, types of bait, type of lures, rods, reels, and the best locations for certain species.
When you become more comfortable writing articles you might then try a niche that is new to you. Use the search engines and do a search for whatever niche you want to try and research that topic. You might find that you have more of an interest in that topic than you thought.
When writing your articles, be precise, be informative, and by all means, don't tell people the same thing that everyone else is telling them. Make your articles new and captivating. Give people unique content. Don't write several articles and think that will be enough. You need to keep writing articles. You must keep your site full of fresh content. Don't forget to put your name and website address at the end of your article in the resource box. As you write informative articles, other websites may grab your article and publish it on their site or in their newsletter, thereby driving additional traffic to your site.
By keeping your content fresh and informative, the search engines will spider your site more often. Search engines look for new and unique content and will make numerous trips to your site if you keep adding new articles to it. The more often they visit, the higher in the ratings your website will go.
You also need to submit your articles to online article directories. Each directory has its own submission guidelines so be sure to check them out first. Make sure your resource box is included with the article when you submit it. Without this resource box, readers will not know who wrote the article or how to get more information from your website. More visitors will also help increase your search engine ratings.
When you join Google's Adsense program, Google will place Adsense ads on your site that are directly related to the topic that you are writing about. When a visitor clicks on one of the ads, you are paid for that click. The amount you are paid will depend on what the advertiser is paying for that ad and only Google knows that. The more traffic you get to your site, and the higher your click through rate (CTR), the more money you can earn.
It's not as hard as it may appear. The most difficult part is getting started and keeping the momentum going. It may take awhile for your site to get traffic. The most important thing is to keep submitted articles to your website.
If you wish, you can also post articles written by others as long as you include their resource box. Doing so can cause some visitors to transfer away from your site by clicking on the link in the authors resource box. But the good part of this practice is that the article still adds fresh content to your website which is always a good thing for your search rankings.

7 Reasons Why Using CSS is a Must
I recently stumbled upon this article. It is two to three years old piece and it is written in plain, simple and understandable way. This article is teaching, with ease, about advantages of using CSS when designing website over table based layouts.
CSS is a new option for website designers that have been using HTML and tables for most of their web designing careers. Of course, it is a huge change and requires learning a new language and skill, however most people are saying CSS is worth it and it will give you more control, options, and is easier to edit. Consider the following 7 reasons why using CSS is a must and see if it convinces you to change your method of web design.
Reason #1 Present Data Logically When you use CSS in the layout of your website you can present your data in a logical way and CSS can then manage how the information appears. This is significantly easier than other methods and is one reason why CSS is a must.
Reason #2 More Options With CSS you have more options for changing the location of information on your screen. This is important for a variety of reasons, especially if you anticipate the need to change columns or links at some time.
Reason #3 Complements HTML Another reason CSS is a must is because it complements HTML. HTML and CSS alone both have weaknesses, but when used together your website design will be significantly stronger.
Reason #4 Editing You can edit your website design if you need to for whatever reason without that much hassle if you are using CSS. All you do is go in and edit the definition. This is a lot easer than searching and replacing of years past.
Reason #5 Faster When you use CSS your pages not only load faster but they also can be scrolled quicker than ever before. This is a huge deal to most web surfers as well as webmasters because speed is a huge implication in whether someone stays on your page or moves on. CSS increases speed, and as a result is a tool you must learn how to use.
Reason #6 Print When you use CSS you can also include a printer friendly version of the website that makes it easier to print and can eliminate color, images, and other things that do not print easily.
Reason #7 Control If you have been working with tables for layouts you are probably tired of the guessing that goes on. However, with CSS you have more control and can issues commands and know exactly where the result will appear, rather than guessing. This is in itself makes CSS a must have.
Now that you have some information on CSS, you are probably interested in knowing more details about how it works and above all how you can learn to use CSS. Fortunately, there is tons of information available online that will provide you with the answers to your many questions on CSS and how it can help you.

Blog Marketing For Beginners
This is a great article for beginners to find out something about how to promote and monetize there blogs.
Blog Marketing- what you should know
Blog marketing is just what it says. It is a method of marketing or selling by means of blogs. Blogs are a simple and easy way to establish a presence on the Internet. They can be used to bring your business or product to the many millions of searchers on the Internet. But what exactly are blogs?
Blog is a derivative of the term Weblog. They started out as personal entries or diaries on the web, and soon were adopted and adapted by business to reach more market, hence the term blog marketing.
Blogs have an obvious advantage over traditional websites. Whereas it may take days, weeks and even months sometimes for websites to be listed on major search engines, blogs usually take hours or even less. This is because of the ever updating nature of a blog. Search engines love fresh content and blogs have established a reputation for providing fresh contents.
Before deciding to blog on any topic or niche for money, there are certain things that you must consider.
1. You must determine if there is enough traffic for your chosen niche or market
2. I your niche willing and able to pay for your services and or products, i.e how hungry is the niche?
3. How stiff is the competition?
4. How technically challenged are you?
5. How do you monetize your blog
Determine demand for your niche product or service
This is really simple and there a many free and paid service to help you do just that. My favorite free service for this is the Google Keyword Tool at https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal. Another free tool is the Yahoo Search Marketing Keyword Tool at https://secure.overture.com/s/dtc/center/?mkt=us
Once there, type in your keyword in the keyword search box and hit enter and Google will return to you the number of searches on your keyword and related terms for the previous month. The higher the number of searches, the better. That however will depend on your competition.
How Stiff is your competition?
To find out, take the same keyword and open up a Google search window. Type in the keyword/phrase in quotes and hit enter. Google will return the number of competing pages or sites on the net for your keyword phrase. The lower the better.
How do you know that people are willing to pay for your product/service
You can find out by visiting forums that are related to your niche and looking at the questions people are asking. You can register at the same forums and ask questions to determine if people are willing and able to pay for your product.
How do you monetize your blog
There are several ways to do this. One is through Google Adsense which you can sign up for at http://www.google.com/adsense. It is easier to get approved if you have a blog or website up and running before applying for adsense account.
The other method is through affiliate marketing. As an affiliate marketer, you do not own your own product but you are selling or promoting somebody else's product in exchange for a cut in the profit. Some places to sign up for affiliate products are at Commission Junction at www.cj.com or Linkshare at www.linkshare.com
Which blog platform to use for publishing your blog.
There are two different blog platforms out there- Self-Hosted and Hosted by the blog service. Hosted by the blog service is where you simply visit the blog service, sign up for an account and begin to create your blog. This usually is the best option for beginners and those who are technically challenged. A good place to start is at www.Blogger.com.
Now that you have your blog up and running, what is next?
Promote your blog. Share your blog url with friends and family, update your content regularly and be sure to ping or notify the blog directories when you make a post. This brings the search engine robot to your blog and increases your chance of ranking high on the engines. Make meaningful posts at forums and other blogs and leave your blog url in your comment box to generate backlinks for your blog.
This is a time consuming exercise, the good news though is that there are special operations software that make this a breeze. For further information on that, see the resource box.

What is Pay per Click (PPC)?
As always I have find yet another informative article for visitors of this blog. I think this article is interesting and can be useful for every website advertiser.
I suggest to everyone who want to advertiser there site with Googe AdWords to read this article.
PPC stands for Pay Per Click. It is a method of paying to search engines like google, msn, yahoo for advertising your website. Google Adwords is one of the preferred destinations for maximum of the website advertiser in order to achieve a large pool of traffic on pay per click basis.
Visitors who are searching for the products/services that you are selling are in a receptive mode and chances of getting those visitors converted into a paying customer is more.
How does Pay Per Click (PPC) work?
Taking Google search engine as an example, when a user is searching for a product or service by inputting a keyword or a keyword phrase in google search engine, your ppc ads will be get displayed on right hand side of the search engine results. Depending on how compelling your ad copy is, a user will decide whether to click on your ppc ad for more information or not.
If any user clicks on your ad, that user is redirected to your website and your account is charged with a fee for that click made by the user. The most compelling aspect of ppc advertising is - you pay only when user clicks on your ad or in other words, you only pay for qualified traffic delivered to your website.
How Google decides the position of your ad word?
The position of your add for particular keyword depends on your campaign budget and CTR (click through rate) of that keyword. Getting maximum CTR for your targeted keyword is the key factor to rank your key phrases in Google Adwords.
How do I maximize my earnings from Pay Per Click (PPC)?
1) Relevance is key:
If you attempt to use a lot of broad keywords, you’re probably going to be disappointed with the performance of your campaign. Google rewards publishers for a high CTR (click through rate) it means generating keywords that are highly relevant to your website will decrease CPC (cost per click) bid amount you pay for each click.
2) Create strong ads:
Each of your ads should have strong copy. You should put pen to paper in such a manner that gives users a call to action. The quality of your add copy can make or break a campaign.
After the selection of keywords, add copy is the most important skill to master. Inventa Technologies typically spends a few hours for the creation of a single ad creative (headline + two lines of text). Google helps by automatically serving the add creative with the highest CTR (click through ratio), however as is the case with all other advertising channels - it is important to test, test and retest.
3) Opt for Search Engine Results Only:
If the PPC engine you are using has a content network, turn it off! Google allows it and Yahoo allows it.
For most industries, the content network delivers lower conversion rates compared to the search network. The best way to ensure that you get the most targeted traffic for your investment is by only displaying your ads on search engine result pages.
Conclusions:
Pay per click (PPC) can help your business to gain significant competitive advantage and good return on investment (ROI).

Adsense Tips you Need to Know
This is a great article written by Craig Becket with a couple of Adsense tips everybody should know before they even sign up for an Adsense account. Some of this tips helped me to increase my Adsense revenue.
Adsense is one of the best online advertising programs in existence. A large number of bloggers and web site owners use Adsense Ads to create a regular source of income.
Adsense revenue is generated when a visitor to your site clicks through an Adsense Ad you have displayed. In this article I will be sharing with you some tips and tricks you will need to employ to maximize your Adsense income.
The first and most important thing to increase your Adsense income is to increase the number of click throughs you receive.
The best way to achieve a higher click through rate is to match you Adsense ads with the look of your website. It is hard to illustrate here but you can check out an example of proper Adsense integration on my website, at the end of this article.
Your goal is to make sure your Adsense ads appear seam less, make sure to match the background color of your ads with the background color of your website.
The size of your Adsense ads is also crucial to your success. The wider ad formats are generally known to be more effective. For vertical skyscraper ads the 160X600 and for rectangles 336X280 have been proven to be the best.
Placement of your Adsense ads is also important, placing them at the top and to the right will improve your click through rate dramatically. Occasionally inserting them between paragraphs works as well but be sure not to over do it.
One thing to keep in mind though is that Google Adsense only allows you to use 3 ad units and one link unit per page. If you exceed the limit you risk the chance of being banned.
Another way to increase your income is to place a Google Adsense search bar on your page. When a visitor to your site uses your search bar your Google Adsense ID is embedded in all of their Google searches. If they then click on any links while surfing from your site, you make money!
Google Adsense filter is also a handy feature that you can use to block your competitors from placing ads on your site. Overdoing it with the filter could limit some of your ad options so use it sparingly.
Adsense also allows you to ad channels so you can monitor different ad campaigns and determine which ones are performing better.
Feel free to experiment with different colors and placements from time to time if you feel you are not achieving the results you desire. To see how all of these Adsense tips are integrated drop by my site for a look.
Well good luck, your Adsense revenue should begin to increase in the next couple of weeks.

How To Increase Search Engine Traffic By Adding Relevant Tags
This is very informative article which explains how to increase your search engine traffic by adding relevant tags to your blog posts. I think this is very useful information to all of us trying to attract visitors to visit our blogs.
If you have a blog or a website, you're probably like the rest of us - obsessed with traffic. Don't get me wrong, there isn't anything wrong with that, in fact traffic is essential if your online business is going to make it. One step missed by many new bloggers is tagging their posts and articles properly.
When a blog fails to tag articles, they are sacrificing links that are nearly automatic. Technorati and other blog search engines list all of the entries and posts that are tagged with each tag and they also link to each post. This means that by simply tagging each post a blog or site can get quite a few extra links.
Tagging your posts properly consists of a few simple steps. You will first need to decide which category you want to tag each post or article with. You should ask yourself what keywords you're trying to target with your post - those are the words you want to use for your tags. The next logical step is to make sure that all of the keywords you want to target are listed in the post or article.
Once you have the words in the article, you're ready to tag. Make a tag for each keyword that is relevant to your article. You may be tempted you use tags that aren't relevant to your posts. Don't give it because tagging with non-relevant tags can get you banned from blog search engines, which will result in not getting any links at all.
If you don't have any idea which tags you should use, you should go to Technorati to look around. Find other sites like yours and take a look at the keywords they're tagging their posts with. Highly ranked sites will probably tag their articles properly so make sure to watch what they do.
Hopefully those of you that don't have blogs are still here, because you can tag your writing as well. You can also ping your site even if you don't use a blog.
Over time, tagging your posts with relevant tags can really increase your search engine traffic. People will be able to find you more easily in blog search engines, and eventually the increased linking will result in your site gaining improved rankings in regular search engines.
Keep in mind that tagging is a very important aspect of web development, but there are a lot of other factors that can make tagging more effective. Building the links and authority of your site can make the tagging work a lot better.
Overall, tagging is very important and you're probably losing some business if you aren't doing it.

How to Find High Paying Keywords for AdSense
I have been so busy last couple of weeks with my other project so I didn't have enough time for searching and reading good and informative articles one can find on the net. This morning I have find one really interesting and informative that shows you how to find high paying Keywords for adsense. This article is must read for everyone who want to increase there adsense earnings.
One might think that they could simply as a few people who run AdSense campaigns and get a good idea of what keywords pay how much. However, Google's terms and conditions for AdSense prohibit any person from sharing their earnings information with anyone else. Therefore, you are not going to find people readily to give you the keywords that pay them well. Besides, they don't want more and more people using that keyword and cutting their income, either.
This may sound as if you are being left in the dark, and to some extent you truly are. But, you can use some good common sense and make a good estimate of which keywords are likely to pay well.
One way to select keywords that are profitable is to research keywords using a keyword tool like Word Tracker. Then compare those keywords once you get reports. You'll see which ones need to be dropped and which ones need to be kept. Add some new keywords to replace the ones you dropped. Wait a while and then access your reports again. It won't take long to have a very refined list of keywords that will monetize your website quite well.
